  I say it alot, but this was a fun set!
Drawing from my Ren/Trad repertoire in anticipation of
"Romance Weekend" for VARF had me playing some of my
favourite love songs.  And then I did a whole set of
songs that I usually offer as choices.  I'm thinking
that I want just do one of my sets this weekend as the:
"Dead Pirates, Live Vikings, Cannibal Sailors and REVENGE! Set"
I indulged myself a little, and my have to trim it a bit.
I was also super happy that several of the requests were
for originals.  And then... the set took a wonderful turn.
Someone, out of left field requested "Desperado" and
it made me realised that it's been awhile since I've played
any significant amount of songs by The Eagles.  I threw
in some favourite Beatles songs too!
