This year's set had a lot more strife and
protest in it, compared to some previous
years. Or maybe it was just more concentrated
since the webconcerts tend to be a bit shorter
than some of my usuals SPD shenanigans. That
meant lots of representation from the Pogues.
I also had a bit of nostalgia thrown in and
took a short diversion from the theme to cover
a tune also done by my dear musical colleague,
Ariana. I always liked hearing her and her
band do "I Can See Clearly Now". It's been long
overdue that I finished putting together an
actual arrangement for it, hence calling it a
debut despite me clumsily trying it out a
small handful of times in Old Town.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in.
The next one will be April 2nd.
I hope to highlight songs featuring Fools,
Foolishness, Blarney,
And that brings me to a new plug I'd like
to insert into the conversation:

  https://www.stevehaug.com
is once again updated. My upcoming webconcerts
and live performances(!!) are all in there under
the Schedule Tab.

There's also a feature in it I'd like to
highlight: My Setlists! Yes, I am, in fact
unashamedly trying to drive more clicks to
the site. So, do go check them out! And
here's a fun thing to do as you look thru
them:
- Find your favourites and request one of them.
OR
- Find a song you didn't know I did, and that
you'd like to hear and request it.

At the moment, the setlists go back to
around 2020 or so, but I have them going
*way* back. There are sets from New Deal
Cafe, Constellation Books, Esoterica,
Clipper City, Cock & Bowl, Old Bowie Town
Grill, Madams Organ and more. I'm still
going thru them and getting them ready
to post. So come back and find some
great memories. Some of you will even
find sets you were there at. Oh, and,
one more thing: I'm always trying to
get folks to help me find new friends
who dig what I do. But I know, it's
hard to just describe the range of
what I perform. You can steer your
friends to the site and encourage them
to paw through the setlists and see
how many of *their* favourites they can
find!
